we certainly are, although it's mellower now, the syrupy light of autumn. No gates to speak of, but on my drive to work last week (out of town) my car passed beneath a giant wheeling flock of a thousand cockatoos. A handful of glitter thrown into the air. Found you, Ms Soucouyant!
